Blizzwood is a junior company which is specialized in constructing home pages for smaller companies, associations,clubs,organizations, communes or even private persons.
We offer home pages in different sizes and price categories in order to be able fulfil every customer’s wishes.
The company was founded in December 2006 by a group of motivated pupils in year 10 at the Emil-von-Behring-Gymnasium in Großhansdorf. The pupils’s task is not just the design of home pages, they are also responsable for the managment, the finances and the marketing.
The founding of the company was made possible by the project: "Junior-pupils as managers" which is advertised by the Institute of the German Economy in Cologne and which is supported nationwide by the KfW Mittelstandsbank, the Handelsblatt, the "Bundesministerium für Wirtschaft und Technologie" (the Federal Minisetry of Economy and Technology) and Danfoss.
